This beautiful Cockatoo Tea Towel is from a photograph taken by me in my front garden when I was living in Canberra, and has been converted to a halftone for screen printing. Pinch River tea towels are not only practical for drying dishes and hands but they make for a lovely decorative kitchen item. The reusability of tea towels is a sustainable alternative to paper towels and they can also be used as pot holders (with care and heat awareness), for wrapping baked goods and they also make great gifts.
Product Details:
This item is handprinted in Australia using water-based / solvent-free inks on organic cotton basecloth. The ink makes the fabric a little stiff but once it's washed a few time it becomes super soft. Please note it is likely for the print to show crease marks after washing and over time it will wear to become like a favourite pair of blue jeans.

Care instructions:
Do not dry clean. Do not tumble dry. Cold hand wash is preferable or gentle machine wash. Warm iron on reverse side only. Please consider the environment and use eco-friendly washing powder.
