Refund policy

Notification must be received within 14 days of accepting delivery of the product and return of the product must be within 21 days after notification.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at pinchriver@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


Faulty or Damaged Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Pinch River handmade products:

As Pinch River has strong quality control procedures in place no faulty or damaged items will be used to fill an order. Therefore as no faulty or damaged goods leave the premises in this way Pinch River will not be responsible for items damaged in transit by Australia Post, its contractors or courier and transport companies.

Pinch River's objective is to produce high quality products. Handmade items often display characteristics that are different from mass produced items, this does not make them flawed or inferior but instead makes them unique. All care is taken to accurately represent the true colours of the product, however the colours that appear on your monitor may vary from the actual colours of the product due to photographic conditions and monitor settings.

Other wares:

To complement the product range Pinch River also offers wares made by other artisans. Please read the item description carefully as I take all care to describe it in detail. If you require further information please contact me prior to purchasing the item. Items that have been hand made may display characteristics that are different from mass produced items, this does not make them flawed but in fact adds to their character. If I am aware of any special care requirements of an item I will pass the care instructions on to the buyer.

 

Lost or Damaged Items in Transit

Pinch River takes no responsibility for parcels lost, stolen or damaged in transit by Australia Post, its contractors or by courier and transport companies.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like sale items, gift cards and yardage once it has been cut to your desired length).


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
